The MYSTILUCK wireless controller is a surprisingly good-value option for Nintendo Switch 2. It paired without fuss, feels comfortable in the hand and delivered good battery life during my use. My main criticism is the D-pad, which feels a little stiff.
I bought this controller because I wanted an affordable wireless option for the Nintendo Switch 2 without paying official Pro Controller money. After using it with the Switch 2, the simple conclusion is that it gets the important basics right.
Setup with Nintendo Switch 2
Connecting the controller was straightforward. I was able to pair it with the Switch 2 without having to fight through a complicated setup process. That matters with third-party accessories: a low price is not much use if the device becomes a troubleshooting project before the first game starts.
Once connected, it behaved like a practical everyday controller. I did not experience anything during setup that would stop me recommending it as a lower-cost option.
Comfort and controls
The controller feels good in the hand. Its conventional full-size shape is comfortable for longer sessions and is a useful alternative when you do not want to play with the Joy-Con controllers attached.
The buttons and analogue controls cover the everyday gaming experience well. The one part I am less enthusiastic about is the directional pad. On my controller it feels slightly stiff, so games that rely heavily on quick or precise D-pad inputs may not feel quite as effortless.

Who is it for?
This controller makes the most sense for a Switch 2 owner who wants a comfortable wireless controller at a low price, perhaps as a second controller, a spare for multiplayer or a more traditional option for docked play.
If you want every official Switch 2 feature, frequently play games that depend heavily on the D-pad, or need the controller to wake the console, the official Pro Controller or another premium alternative may suit you better.
My verdict
For the price, I am happy with the MYSTILUCK controller. It connected easily, feels comfortable and the battery performance has been good. The slightly stiff D-pad is the main compromise, but for general Switch 2 gaming it offers strong value.
